Prior to beginning his legal career, Ben Manevitz was heavily involved in the fashion industry from a young age. His father and well-known designer, Isaac Manevitz, owned and operated Ben-Amun Co., Inc. for more than three decades. It was through this early exposure in the fashion industry that Ben first learned the importance of intellectual property protection, observing how crucial it was for designers to preserve their copyrights, trade secrets, and trademarks.
Mr. Manevitz earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Cornell University, and his Juris Doctor cum laude, Order of the Coif, from the University of Pennsylvania. He later received his LL.M. with Distinguished Performance in intellectual property from Cardozo. Prior to opening his practice, Ben worked with some of the nation's top intellectual property law firms, including Fross Zelnick, and Pennie & Edmonds.
